Although LEDs provide beautiful and vibrant visuals, and are amazing for Scenic Production, for most Virtual Vehicle Production work we actually recommend Back Projection!

The presence of moire associated with filming LEDs means that in this application they are far more restrictive, with far fewer camera angles available to be shot, and so a blend of the two are best practice for car work.

However, some projects may specifically require LEDs, and that is where we come in.

Vibrant: LEDs have the punch to really light up your scene. A great choice for massive lighting setups, and when the image brightness is paramount.

Costly: As LEDs are still an evolving technology the costs associated with using it are higher than more stable and established equipment such as projectors.
